We have two teachers: Annette and Emma. Both are qualified teachers with over fifteen years’ experience.
Annette teaches in Ruislip, Eastcote, Harrow and areas around London.
Emma teaches via Skype or Zoom to students around the world.
About Annette
Before I started teaching I worked in catering, nursing, voluntary organisations and office management with different companies including legal and property.
I have traveled in different countries and cities. Like you, I have first-hand appreciation of the difficulties faced by non-native speakers, and know how discouraging it can be when you do not speak the local language. I understand how you feel when you have spent a lot of time and money to learn English in your own country and then not be able to use it in the UK. During your course you will develop your confidence so that you will not be embarrassed to speak English to anyone.
I have a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA), a qualification recognised by the British Council. Because it is awarded by Cambridge ESOL, part of the world-famous University of Cambridge, you can rely on its quality and recognition.
About Emma
Do you feel uncomfortable speaking English to people when you need to? Are you studying and need to increase your English level or plan to take an English exam? Have you lived in the UK for a while but feel like building your vocabulary and increasing your confidence with the language? I can help.
Having taught students from all over the world for over ten years I know how you feel. It can be difficult to keep motivated. Regular, targeted lessons get you the results you want.
In addition to teaching the main skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing, as a trained actor, I can also help you focus on pronunciation, stress and intonation and help those students requiring public speaking or presentation practice.
I believe in a relaxed approach to teaching but at the same time working hard to help you reach your goals. We will work together and I will create suitable lessons tailored to your needs.
